Integration setup
The Adyen integration involves multiple configuration steps. To speed things up, the Chargebackhit team can complete the integration directly within your Adyen account.
To ensure a safe start, representment is not applied to existing disputes.
Step 1. Set up Adyen user for Chargebackhit
To authorize Chargebackhit to perform the integration on your behalf, add the Chargebackhit integration account as a user in your Adyen account.
To add the Chargebackhit integration account
Add a new user with the email integrations@chargebackhit.com.
Grant access to the Company account and the merchant accounts you want to connect.
Assign the following roles and permissions:
Developer: Manage API credentials
Merchant: Technical integrator
After you create the user and assign the required permissions, notify the Chargebackhit support team. Chargebackhit then completes the integration and configuration on your behalf.
If you prefer to complete the integration yourself, let the Chargebackhit support team know, so they can provide detailed step-by-step setup instructions and guide you through the process.
Step 2. Provide account and business information
Provide the Adyen account and your business information for the setup:
Share the Adyen merchant account name
Complete Guide Add your business information to the HUB settings to fully support the dispute representment process.Business details
Each Adyen merchant account corresponds to one Chargebackhit account. Multiple merchant accounts are grouped into a single account group for unified management on the Chargebackhit side. If you have multiple accounts, provide this information to the Chargebackhit support team.
Step 3. Configure report columns
To make sure the historical backfill includes all required data, configure the report columns before generating or exporting reports.
A. Configure the Dispute transaction details report
To configure the report
Go to Settings > Report columns.
Find Dispute transaction details report (monthly) and click on Configure.
Select all available columns.
Click on Save configuration.
B. Configure the Interactive payment accounting report
To configure the report
Go to Settings > Report columns.
Find Interactive payment accounting and click on Configure.
Select all available columns.
Click on Save configuration.
Step 4. Enable SFTP data export for historical backfill
To initiate the setup for SFTP data export to ensure historical backfill, email Adyen support.
Include integrations@chargebackhit.com in the CC field so Chargebackhit can provide all necessary details.
Email details:
To: support@adyen.com
CC: integrations@chargebackhit.com
Subject: Request to enable SFTP data export and allowlisting
