This integration is used for dispute representment. To enable it, you need to generate a public key and a secret key in your Checkout account.

Step 1. Create Public key

To create a Public key

  1. Go to your Checkout dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Developers > Keys.
  3. Click on Create key to generate a new public key.
  4. In the Provide key description field, optionally enter Chargebackhit dispute management.
  5. Switch to Customize.
  6. Enable the following scope:
    • middleware:merchants-public
  7. Under Processing channels, select the channels you want to connect for automated dispute representment.
  8. Save the generated Public key to complete the integration.

Step 2. Create Secret key

To create a Secret key

  1. In your Checkout dashboard, navigate to Developers > Keys.
  2. Click on Create key to generate a new secret key.
  3. In the Provide key description field, optionally enter Chargebackhit dispute management.
  4. Switch to Customize.
  5. Enable the following scopes:
    • disputes:accept
    • disputes:provide-evidence
    • disputes:view
    • files
    • gateway:payment-details
  6. Under Processing channels, select the channels you want to connect for automated dispute representment.
  7. Save the generated secret key to complete the integration.

Step 3. Connect Checkout to Chargebackhit

To connect Checkout

  1. Go to your Chargebackhit HUB account.
  2. In the top menu, click on Integrations.
  3. Next to the Checkout logo, click on Connect.
  4. On the connection page, paste your Checkout public key and secret key.
  5. Enable the Dispute representment toggle.
  6. Click on Submit to complete the integration setup.
